Craniofacial Reconstruction

Craniofacial reconstruction addresses deformities resulting from injury, tumor ablation, or congenital problems involving the craniofacial skeleton and overlying soft tissue. Patients with traumatic injuries, congential craniofacial problems, or facial deformity due to surgical complications may require reconstruction to restore their face to a harmonous, aesthetically pleasing state. What can craniofacial reconstructions treat?

Craniofacial reconstruction can address such problems as:

  • Facial trauma with damage to soft issue and/or skeletal facial structure
  • Congential problems which effect craniofacial skeletal growth and function
  • Revision surgery from prior cosmetic surgery that damaged facial structures or has created a challenging repair

Is craniofacial reconstruction right for me?

Craniofacial reconstruction is a highly individualized approach and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else's desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image. Craniofacial reconstruction may be a good option for you if:
